Agentes extrasectoriales y transformaciones recientes en el agro argentino

Abstract

Este trabajo considera algunas de las transformaciones experimentadas por el sector agropecuario argentino en la última década, para luego analizar la conformación del sector productor en un cultivo no tradicional, el arándano, en la provincia de Entre Ríos. Este cultivo tiene la peculiaridad de haber sido encarado por empresarios de origen mayoritariamente no local, y presenta variantes en cuanto a diversificación productiva e integración vertical. En él las inversiones en capital son más significativas que la inversión en tierras y tienen un papel importante las tecnologías de información y gestión, rasgos que también se observan en el desarrollo reciente de los cultivos tradicionales extensivos en zonas extrapampeanas. El papel desempeñado por los capitales externos al sector es un tema en el que conviene profundizar, dada la flexibilidad y versatilidad que permiten algunas de las modalidades productivas vigentes.
