Consensos y disensos entre los economistas mexicanos

Abstract

Este artículo identifica los acuerdos y desacuerdos que existen entre los economistas mexicanos respecto a temas clave de la economía, sobre la base de una encuesta aplicada a 360 de ellos. Entre las propuestas que suscitaron un mayor consenso destacan: la equidad en la distribución del ingreso, el empleo efectivo de las leyes de competencia económica y de protección al consumidor, y el uso de políticas fiscales contracíclicas. Por otro lado, entre las proposiciones que suscitaron un mayor disenso se encuentran: la inversión privada en el sector energético, los factores que determinan la inflación, el salario mínimo como causa de desempleo y los objetivos que debiera perseguir un banco central autónomo.
