Options for regional integration

Abstract

Postula que para lograr una integración real y permanente entre los países de América Latina, se requiere de políticas nacionales democráticas estables, ya que de alcanzarse tal meta el intercambio comercial pasaría a ser un síntoma de que esas interdependencias existen y se consolidan, contrario a lo que ocurre en la actualidad debido a las cambiantes políticas nacionales y los esfuerzos inestables que sucumben a los embates de las crisis originadas en el sector externo.
