Covid-19 Salgininin Turizm Uzerindeki Etkileri: Safranbolu Miras Kenti Ornegi

Abstract

Turizm dunyanin en hizli gelisen ekonomik faaliyetlerinde yer almaktadir. Dunyada Covid 19 salginindan korunmak amaciyla ulastirma, ekonomik, sosyal ve kulturel alanlarinda cesitli tedbirler alinip seyahatler kisitlanmistir. Bu kisitlamalar diger is kollarinin yani sira turizmi de etkiyip yerli ve yabanci turistlerin gelisini ve gunluk ziyaretleri de durdurmustur. Covid 19 salgini tum dunyada hizli yayildiginda bircok ekonomik sektorler durdurulmaktadir. Turizm sektoru de bu salgindan dolayi cok fazla etkilenmistir. Bu calismada Covid-19 salginin Safranbolu’da turizme etkileri incelenmistir. Arastirmada nicel veriler kullanilarak salginin turizme etkisi tespit edilmistir. Elde edilen sonuclara gore, Covid-19 salgini Safranbolu’ya gelen turist sayisini oldukca azaltmistir. Safranbolu’daki turizm kulturel miras ile bagli oldugu icin kitle turizmden farklilik gostermektedir. Salgindan dolayi ulkemizin kitle turizmi buyuk bir krizden gecmektedir. Kucuk olcekli kulturel turizm destinasyonlarinda krizlere karsi daha fazla direncli oldugu soylenebilir. Sayi yaninda turizm gelirini ciddi olumsuz etkilemistir. Covid-19 sonrasi durumun farklilik gostermesi beklenmektedir. Turkiye’nin turizm gelisimine bakildiginda dunyadaki buyuk olaylar, salginlar ve catismalar sirasinda ulkemizin turizmi gelisimini surdurmustur. Ancak Covid-19 salgini onceki olaylardan farkli bir durumu ortaya cikarabilir. Salginin turizm uzerindeki tam etkileri henuz belli olmayip gelecekte farkli sonuclarla karsilasilabilir.
