Dýþ Ticarette Uluslararasý Mal ve Piyasa Çeþitlendirmesi: Seçilmiþ Ülkeler Ýçin Kümeleme Analizi

Abstract

Bu çalýþmanýn amacý seçilmiþ 121 ülkeyi, mal ve piyasa çeþitlendirmesi performanslarýna göre gruplara ayýrmaktýr. Bu amaç doðrultusunda, literatürde mal ve piyasa çeþitlendirmesini temsilen yaygýn olarak kullanýlan; Ýhracat Piyasalarýna Giriþ Endeksi, Hirschman Herfindahl Piyasa Yoðunlaþma Endeksi, Ýhracat Ortaðý Sayýsý, Ýthalat Ortaðý Sayýsý, Ýhraç Edilen Ürün Sayýsý, Ýthal Edilen Ürün Sayýsý gibi deðiþkenler kullanýlmýþtýr. Analizi dinamik hale getirmek için, kümeleme analizleri zaman içinde birden fazla noktada gerçekleþtirilmiþtir. Veri seti 1990'lar ve 2000'ler ve 2015 ve sonrasý için üç dönem olarak ele alýnmýþtýr. Belirlenen kümelerin istatistiksel olarak anlamlý olup olmadýðý Diskriminant analizi ile test edilmiþtir. Daha sonra MANOVA analizi ile hangi deðiþkenlerin küme ayrýmýnda daha etkili olduklarý belirlenmiþtir. Son olarak elde edilen kümelerin Kiþi Baþýna GSYH (2010 Sabit Fiyatlarla US$) deðiþkenine göre anlamlý bir þekilde farklýlaþýp farklýlaþmadýðýnýn belirlenmesi için ANOVA testi uygulanmýþtýr. Sonuç olarak; i) Ülkelerin dýþ ticaretinin mal ve piyasa çeþitlendirmeleri açýsýndan anlamlý bir þekilde farklý gruplara ayrýlabileceði görülmektedir ii) Ülkeler gösterdikleri ticaret çeþitlendirme performansýna göre zamanla küme deðiþtirebilmektedir iii) Kümeleme analizi sonucunda ortaya çýkan kümelerin kiþi baþýna GSYH göstergesine göre karþýlaþtýrmalarý yapýldýðýnda; daha iyi mal ve piyasa çeþitlendirmesine sahip ülkelerin ayný zamanda, daha yüksek kiþi baþýna GSYH’ya sahip olduðu gözlenmiþtir.
