Geliþmiþ ve Geliþmekte Olan Ülkelerde Kamu Reel Kesimi Büyüklüðü, Kurumsal Kalite ve Ekonomik Büyüme Ýliþkisi

Abstract

2007-2008 küresel ekonomik krizinden sonra devletin ekonomik hayattaki rolü ve kurumlarýn kalitesi tekrar temel tartýþma konularýndan biri haline gelmiþtir. Çalýþmada, kamu kesimi büyüklüðü ve kurumsal kalitenin ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki etkileri geliþmiþ ve geliþmekte olan ülkeler için panel veri analiz yöntemi kullanýlarak test edilmiþtir. Ampirik analizler sonucu elde edilen bulgulara göre, kamu kesimi büyüklüðü hem geliþmiþ hem de geliþmekte olan ülkelerde ekonomik büyümeyi olumsuz etkilemektedir. Kurumsal kalitenin ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki etkileri ise kullanýlan kurumsal gösterge ve ülke grubuna göre farklýlaþmakla birlikte kurumsal kalitenin ülkelerin ekonomik büyümesinde önemli rol oynadýðý söylenebilir.
