Abstract

The twentieth century witnessed the dominance of capitalism, socialism, communism, and fascism, each claiming to ensure prosperity or justice but revealing deep flaws. This paper introduces Impactism, a human-centered paradigm that places purpose and measurable impact at the core of progress. It presents a four-level framework—individual, family, business, and government. At the individual level, it emphasizes purpose as the basis of resilience and contribution. Families extend this through legacy and social engagement. Businesses are being redefined as purpose-driven enterprises that align profit with social and environmental solutions. Governments are envisioned as partners addressing inequality, climate change, fragile health systems, and digital divides. Together, these levels form a holistic model that bridges theory and practice, offering pathways for global transformation. By embedding purpose into human, social, economic, and political life, Impactism provides an integrative and future-oriented framework that guides humanity toward inclusivity, dignity, and lasting progress in the twenty-first century.
