Abstract

This study aims to identify the demographic, socioeconomic, and professional characteristics of public healthcare workers working in a healthcare institution in terms of the impact of organizational climate on motivation. The findings contribute to determining the human resource profile in healthcare institutions and provide important data for strategic human resources management. The study reveals that the majority of healthcare workers are female, university graduates, and have many years of work experience. This study aims to determine the mediating role of talent management in the impact of organizational climate on motivation among 254 healthcare workers. Correlation analysis revealed a positive and significant correlation of 42.6% (r=0.426, p=0.000) between motivation and the overall dimension of the organizational climate scale. Thus, a relationship between organizational climate and motivation was established, and hypothesis H1 was accepted.
