Abstract

Reşat Nuri Güntekin is among the leading names of the National Literature Period. It is known that the author spent some of his early childhood in Çanakkale due to his father's duty. In some of his works, the author has included descriptions of the years he spent in Çanakkale and some of the structures and places he experienced in Çanakkale. These structures and spaces continue to exist in a spatial proximity and relationship. Many structures considered within this scope have the status of foundation works. Within the scope of the study, these foundation works were considered together with their immediate surroundings based on the framework described by the author, their current status was revealed within the framework of architectural conservation discipline and conservation-planning suggestions were made in order to transfer them to future generations in the most qualified way.
