Comparison and Modal Analysis of Christmas Carols That is Read in Syrian Orthodox and Greek Orthodox Temples In Istanbul

Abstract

There are a lot of similarities between muslim and non-muslim congregations’ temple musics in Istanbul. But this cultural inheritance is not easy to be reached and collected for researchers. In this article, christmas carols of Syrian and Greek Orthodox church which are the old congregations of Ýstanbul have been analyzed and compared.
