La Responsabilidad Social de las Empresas y la Cultura de la Certificación

Abstract

La Comisión Europea, en la Comunicación de la Comisión de 2.7.2002, definió la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa como la integración voluntaria, por parte de las empresas, en las preocupaciones sociales y ambientales en sus operaciones y en las relaciones con sus interlocutores. La UE apuesta por la gestión ética como el camino para integrar en las empresas la cultura de la responsabilidad social. La respuestas de las empresas no ha tardado, en los últimos años han proliferado las Memorias de Responsabilidad Social y las Memorias de Sostenibilidad. Este estudio es una invitación a la reflexión sobre la Responsabilidad Social y las posibilidades de certificarse. En las conclusiones, se explica que la empresa socialmente responsable no necesita ser evaluada ni certificada como tal.
