Abstract

The National pension system, in the light of major economic and financial transactions that take place today, can be challenging, through the difficulties that they create and the solutions that they offer. This paper is a comprehensive study on the public pension system in Romania facing the current global crisis, based on local case studies in an attempt to identify the main gaps and to propose viable solutions. The obtained results are based on multifactorial analysis at local level, by personal processing of relevant data, the evolving activity collected from a county pension facility that meets the characteristics of the retirement pension system nationwide.
