Abstract

L’analyse longitudinale de ce cas permet d’illustrer la plausibilité du cadre conceptuel.(VA)Borrowing from the tradition of processual research in strategic management, we make an original contribution to the study of executive pay, by deepening our understanding of the process behind the determination of a firm’s pay policy. To make sense of process data from the longitudinal case study of Vinci group, we propose a conceptual framework where corporate governance is represented as a complex and dynamic system, where diverse actors use various governance mechanisms as disciplinary or behavioral levers to influence executive pay.
