Lexico-Semantic Representation of the “Akcha†(Money) Concept in the Tatar Language (basing on G. Ibragimov’s works)

Abstract

Aim. In order to consider the worldview and inconsistency of the Tatar culture and to identify a number of linguistic features of the Tatar language, it seems necessary to identify and to analyze lexical means of expression, verbalizing the “akcha†(money) concept basing on G. Ibragimov's works.Methods: method of isolating the key lexemes on which the understanding of the semantics of “akcha†(money), the continuous sampling method and the descriptive method.Conclusions. One of the consequences of the syntagmatic significance of the “akcha†(money) concept is the description of the meanings of the given concept. These connotations represent the traditions of the words usage in the Tatar language and thus are culturally determined.
