Abstract

The aim of the article is to investigate moral problems in "In the Piedmont Aul" story by Amir Kurbanov, a famous Dagestan playwrighter, one of the founders of the Kumyk and Dagestan dramatic art.Methods. Historical-typological, comparative-historical. Results. "In the Piedmont Aul" story is one of the interesting prose works of the "thawin" period, which reflects the life of the Kumyk collective farm aul.Conclusions. The conducted research allows to reveal that in the story the main attention is paid not to the themes of labor and friendship, but to the moral aspects of life, to the ethnic mental features characteristic of the Kumyk aul.
