Arabisms As Value-Based Dominants Of The Religious World Picture

Abstract

 Aim. The article examines the case of Arabic loan words used in its publications, specializing in religious issues.Results. The relevance of the problem is due to the interest of the cognitive linguistics to the processes of formation of the picture of the world in the consciousness of the linguistic personality. Religious world pictureformed by the mass media is reconstructed by identifying the value-based dominants, represented by the Arabic loan words as well.Â
