Excerpts On The History Of Fighting Against Nadir Shah’S Hordes (Basing On Southern Dagestan Peoples’ Struggle)

Abstract

Aim. The coverage and analysis of the Dagestan mountaineers’ struggle with Nadir Shah’s hordes in Southern Dagestan.Methods. The methodological basis of the study is the principle of historicism and system analysis. The study also used some practical methods, such as interrogation and interviews during the field data collection.Results. The role of Southern Dagestan peoples in the defeat of Nadir Shah in Dagestan is studied and generalized.Conclusions. Only the uninterrupted national liberation struggle of the combined forces of the Dagestani mountaineers with the hordes of Nadir Shah at its various stages forced the Iranian Shah to leave Dagestan.Â
