Digital Economics Emerging in the Republic of Dagestan

Abstract

Aim. Analysis of the socio-economic conditions of formation of the digital economy in the Republic of Dagestan.Methods. Comparative and economic analysis, synthesis, generalization, logic, classification.Results. The authors substantiate the necessity for a speedy transition to a digital economy in the Republic of Dagestan, reveal the peculiarities of its formation in the region low share of the digital economy in the gross domestic product of the Republic, a small number of automated operations, the gap between the level of development of SPF, the low supply of personal computers and active subscribers of broadband access to the Internet. The analysis shows that the positive results in the development of the digital economy in the Republic can be expected when the state support for the implementation of the "Digital economy of the Republic of Dagestan".Conclusions. Socio-economic policies at the Federal and regional authorities should be aimed at accelerating the formation of the digital economy in the Republic of Dagestan, which requires the creation of appropriate infrastructure, training in IT-technologies, markets for digital information and business information, the widespread use of information and communication technologies in the economy, the state and municipal management.Â
