Abstract

The aim of the article is representing thenational Uzbek costume, that reflects the traditions rooting back to the ethnic history of the people and their ethnic history, social relations, beliefs, esthetic ideals.Methods. The comparative historical method makes it possible to reveal the tendencies in forming the historical process, to penetrate into the essence of phenomena.Results. The author found that the historical development of the national women's costume was closely connected with the natural, economic, aesthetic and moral requirements. Traditional costume determined the woman’s ethnic origin, her social and marital status, age.Conclusion. The author established that ethnodesign is a means of the personal aesthetic development. It is necessary for the accumulation of traditional cultural experience. The modern design is a product of a new stage in the civilizational development, the causes and consequences of the development of the industry and commerce in General.Â
