Agrarian Resetting In Siberia As A Factor Of Farming Development Of The Region In The Period Of Boris Godunov’S Ruling (Historiographic Aspect)

Abstract

The aim of the study is to analyze the specific features of Boris Godunov’s agrarian policy, aimed at the agricultural development of Western Siberia, to characterize the strategic and economic value of this geographic region of the Russian state. Methods. The authors use a systematic approach, the principles of historicity and concreteness, structural-functional, and problem-logical methods. The use of phenomenological, hermeneutical, comparative approaches is of fundamental importance for the study. Result. The reasons for Boris Fyodorovich's interest in the development of Siberia are analyzed. It is proved that as a statesman in this context he defended the interests of Russia, implementing domestic agrarian policy in domestic policy. Conclusion. The author of the article states that the agrarian resettlement policy has not received a mass character and has had no significant impact on the development of the region. The materials of the publication fragmentarily give answers to questions about the forms and procedures for resettlement in Siberia, the existence of any criteria for the selection of settlers, the complexity of the tasks that they faced in the development of the province, the enterprise measures the government to implement resettlement projects and provide resettlement in the field.
