Abstract

The aim of the article is the analysis of some features and the originality of art skill of Lyon Feykhtvanguer.Methods. Detection of features of historical works of the writer, definition of its place in the Western European and world art prose.Results. The originality and an art method of Lyon Feykhtvanguer based on the novel "Goya or the Hard Way to Enlightment" are analysed, the leading characters of the work are considered. Dramatic nature of destiny of the hero is analysed in the context of dramatic nature of destiny of Spain of that time.Conclusions.L. Feuhtwanger's novel occupies one of the leading places in the history of the German classical literature of the 20th century; deeply psihologic images, which, as main, serially replace each other, are given. Draft of the writer as novelist to history in which he was involved not so much by a subject and contents, how many a perspective is revealed. At the initial stage in subconsciousness of L. Feuhtwanger's thematic prevailed over problem.
