Dragonslay Subject Specifics In Tabasaran Fantastic Tradition

Abstract

The aim of the article is studying the problems of the origin and nature of draygonslay plots of Tabasaran magical fantastic fairy-tales.Methods. Comparative and historical-typological.Results. In the course of the research the author makes an attempt to study the peculiarities of the plot structure of texts, images, as well as some epic motifs of the traditional fairy-tale poetics.Conclusion. Dragonslay stories appeared during the high antiquity and their poetic structure have kept the ancient mythological shapeshifting and witchcraft.
