Abstract

ABSTRACT. Aim. To explore the love theme in "Batiray" novel by Kh. Aliev, which is inseparable from the theme of the poet and poetry. Methods. Comprehensive, structural and functional analysis of a literary text. Results. The protagonist of the novel always aspired to a natural manifestation of his feelings. That is why love as the most sublime his feeling is a subject of constant interest and attention in the work. Conclusion. With regard to the development of this subject in "Batiray" novel, the exceptional development of the love theme in the 19th century caused by a general spirit of protest against the medieval moral standards, which was spread all the way in the Patriarchal society.Â
