Abstract

The study focuses on the identification of the presence and frequency at spatial and temporal level of the certified traditional agro-alimentary products, as a basis of an eating routine preserved along the time, through firstly deducing a typology of villages in Romania with the initiatives of an entrepreneurship according to the preconditions of European politics regarding rural development, through the assistance offered to food production. After that, the query of the series of statistical data on tourism at village level along with the analysis of the relationship between the entrepreneurship in its dynamics and the tourism development, as well as other factors taken into consideration, convey on the one hand the network of villages already with officially declared tourist activity and with manufacturers of this kind whose involvement is acknowledged, the real tourist villages of Romania being highlighted, and on the other hand opening the possibilities of tourism development in the other villages at the expense of the entrepreneurship formed and of the capitalization of the tourist potential triggered by other local and / or local and regional resources. We signal the trends that there are in the development and diversification of rural communities and the preference for mountainous and adjoining space, acknowledged with great tourist potential and in which the determinant factors of the entrepreneurship performance ( the size of the business, the management methods, the products characteristics etc) define the business potential better. The necessity of making and applying the adequate political measures and of a strong framework of governance will enhance the tourism involvement towards the capitalization of agro-alimentary traditional products in relation to the increase of sustainability and will also gradually ensure the closeness to the some countries of EU.
