Abstract

In this article we will direct our attention to developing and promoting the social economy as a flexible and sustainable tool for generating jobs and economic development and social inclusion in Romania with regard to labor market imbalances. The current economy needs well-trained workforce in the context of globalization and technological revolutions, requiring development skills, creativity, sound knowledge, an increase accountability. In a world subject to constant change, to stagnate in terms of preparation is a dangerous behavior for the contemporary man and society. The analysis reflects one of the problems in Romania, namely low labor market flexibility, and attention was directed to one of the main reasons, namely the reduced flexibility of the education system.
