Abstract

The article presents a new theme in the master plan documentations (PUG), which becomes mandatory for all administrative units – social studies concerning the local community options. The article structure includes an introduction, a section about methodology used, as well as the results of the questionnaire both in raw and interpreted form. The questionnaire was applied at the level of the city of Babadag, în south-eastern part of Romania and had the real purpose of supporting and substantiating the solutions that were to be proposed through the master plan. The conclusions reveal the usefulness of this type of instrument, as well as the directions to which the administration and the technicians responsible for the development of the territory must go.
