Abstract

The competence of communication in the activity of a manager has evolved in terms of content and importance over time. In our paper we highlighted the need for specialized books dedicated to managerial communication to offer in the suggestions of behaviours and attitudes in this field a correlation with the theoretical landmarks on which they are based, their lack allowing a limited understanding of the complexity of communication. Based on an application with reference to Transactional Analysis, the discussion of the textbook examples highlights the ease with which concepts such as Ego States, Strokes or Life Positions offer.
