Abstract

Due to the increase in the number of mobile searches for tourist packages, restaurants and hotels, tourism businesses have to be present where they are potential customers on the mobile. According to the data, in 2016, the local online tourism industry registered an increase of 30-40% compared to 2015 and still refers to 1/3 of the value of the local tourism market valued at 4.5 billion RON. It is a grossly modest estimate based on market information correlated with the evolution of the Romanian tourism market.
