Abstract

An important aspect of the history of the Khorezm press is that at the beginning of the 20th century, when the Turkestan, Samarkand and Bukhara press were being formed, there was not a single printed publication in Khorezm. However, the lithographic printing method, which was the basis for the first printed works, first began its activity in Khorezm. It should be noted that for some aspects of the history of the period before 1920, that is, before the first printing work was established in Khorezm, the role of articles and reports published in the national press was incomparable. The article examines the formation of printing work in the KhPSR, the transformation of the periodical press into a propaganda tool for political parties, as well as the interpretation of some processes in social terms.
