Meaning of nursing care in Primary Health Care in the context of COVID-19

Introduction: Currenttly there is an unprecedented historical situation for the health system caused by the COVID-19 pandemic with serious health and social consequence that lead to changes in the care of patients nurse. Objetive: demonstrate the meaning of the care provided by nursing professionals in Primary Health Care in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, in the health area of the Raúl Sánchez polyclinic in Pinar del Río. Methods: Qualitative descriptive study phenomenological perspective universe made up of nursing professionals, who care for patients with COVID -19 from the Raúl Sánchez health area, intentional sample 10 nurses who agreed to participative in the study, a cuestionnnairand interview were applied to them. An alphanumeric coding method was used for anonymous identification of the participants. Information analysis was carried out according to qualitive research approaches Results: Itis was found that the Meaning of nursing care in primary health care in the context of the COVID -19 pandemic, is understood as responsability directed towards the family community and the patient and likewise were complex and protective care emerges that, from facing their fears Results in learning and greater experience. Conclusions: nursing care during pandemic is shown as a value that arises from a state of consciousness which, in the voice of the issuers, strengthened their sense of the life as well as their scientific and technical knowledge human.
