Abstract

The main objective of this research was to analyze the impact of migration from a human rights approach, taking Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador as case studies. To develop the study, a quantitative approach was used with a documentary methodology and a bibliographic design oriented to the critical analysis of theoretical and normative sources, refereed works and theses related to the topic. The results highlight common factors that drive migration, such as violence, persecution, unemployment and political instability. The importance of international agreements and human rights organizations to mitigate these impacts is highlighted, and emphasis is placed on improving national laws and mechanisms to guarantee stability to migrants
