Patients' characterization affected with cervicalgia assisted in the Services of Integral Rehabilitation

Abstract

Introduction: the cervicalgia constitutes the clinical entity that refers to the pain located in the later region and posterolateral of the neck, from the occiput until the high dorsal region. Objective: to characterize clinical and therapeutically the patients affected with cervicalgia assisted in the room of rehabilitation of the Center Diagnosis Integral School The Olive trees in the state of Bolivar, in the period of January to June 2024. Methods: he/she was carried out an observational study, analytic of cohort, longitudinal and prospective that included the patients affected with cervicalgia assisted in the room of rehabilitation of the Center Diagnosis Integral School The Olive trees. Results: in relation to the distribution of patient according to sex, it is observed that the feminine sex prevailed with 75,7%, the etiología of the most frequent cervicalgia in the individuals of the study was the mechanics with 73,6%. Conclusions: they were characterized clinical and therapeutically the patients affected with cervicalgia assisted in the rehabilitation room where the women constitute the most representative sex, being more frequent the entity in the adult associated to mechanical causes
