Abstract

Приоритет за българската митническа администрация след присъединяването на България към Европейския съюз е еднаквото прилагане на европейско митническо законодателство, процедурите и инструментите за митнически контрол на ЕС, в различни области на митническото право. Вследствие на това е извършено: оптимизиране на структурата и състава на митническата администрация; митниците изпълняват нови задачи и отговорности, свързани, от една страна, с осигуряване на приходи не само за държавния бюджет на страната, но и за бюджета на Европейския съюз, а, от друга защитата на интересите на Общността и на нейните граждани от нарушения и от предлагане на контрабандни и на фалшиви стоки.
