Abstract

Престъпността е явление с висока социална цена и застрашава както нормалното функциониране на обществото, така и личната неприкосновеност, собствеността, честта и достойнството на гражданите. В студията се представят основни аспекти на статистическото изследване на престъпността. Изяснена е същността на престъпността като обект на статистическо изучаване. Представени са основните източници на данни и някои проблеми на информационното осигуряване. Описана е системата от статистически показатели за характеризиране на регистрираната престъпност. Изяснени са възможностите за статистическо изследване на латентната престъпност. Разгледани са особености при статистическото изследване на противообществените прояви на малолетните и непълнолетните лица.
