Abstract

The article studies the specific measurements of motivation in a team-based environment. The focus is on the designing and functioning of reward systems in SMWT. The key changes in the compensation system in the transformation process from traditional to team-based structures are determined. The main factors for the effective and appropriate management of the reward system are analyzed. The conclusion is that the SMWT sustainable development requires that the companies reorganize their compensation systems in accordance with the specific characteristics of the new team-based environment. Otherwise, prerequisites are created for the arising of problems and a possible failure of the SMWT concept.
