Abstract

Поредицата от мащабни кризи от различно естество с глобален и регионален характер през последните десетилетия, както и променливият успех на различните антикризисни отговори на Европейския съюз, правят актуален проблема за изследване на съгласуваността между икономическите политики на Съюза. В настоящото изследване се тества координацията между парична и фискална политика на ЕС, като се разкрива, че тя е слаба, на което могат да се отдадат някои проблеми в справянето с кризите. Причини за слабата координация могат да се търсят както в институционалната конструкция на европейските финансови институции, така и в някои негъвкави стратегии на съюза (нежелание да се води обща фискална политика, консервативност по отношение на бюджетните разходи).
