Макроикономически Предизвикателства И Рискове, Породени От Глобалната Коронавирусна Криза

Abstract

Статията анализира настоящата започнала глобална икономическа криза, породена от коронавирусната пандемия (2020 г.). Авторът цели да определи и да дебатира характера на сегашната криза, нейния външен зародиш, но и пораждащите я в периода след глобалната финансова криза от 2008 г. макроикономически, финансови, институционални и социални дисбаланси. Използвайки този анализ, се идентифицират по-дългосрочни макроикономически предизвикателства и рискове, които биха задълбочили и продължили сегашната криза както в глобален план, така и спрямо европейската икономика и България. Ос-новната теза, към която се придържа авторът, е, че са налице както типични за съвременните кризи от 1929 г. от 70-те години и тази от 2008 г. характеристики и уроци за следване, така и че всяка криза носи свой собствен характер и особености. Използвайки тази теза, статията насоч-ва внимание към същностните критични проблеми на световната ико-номика, а не само на тези, породени от коронавирусния шок.
