Abstract

Появата и разпространението на Ковид - 19 в края на 2019 и началото на 2020 г. отправи неочаквано предизвикателство пред развитието и прогреса на съвременното общество. Поредицата от рестрикции, насочени към ограничаване разпространението на заболяването, оказват своето неблагоприятно въздействие както в икономически, така и в социален аспект. Преодоляването на неблагоприятните последици от пандемията се превръща в приоритет на развитието на съвременното общество, ангажиращ значителен по обем публичен ресурс и поставящ на изпитание механизмите на системите за социална защита. Цел на настоящата разработка е да бъдат маркирани краткосрочните ефекти и дългосрочните предизвикателства пред публичната пенсионна система в пандемична и постпандемична среда като основа за очертаване насоките на нейното развитие и усъвършенстване.
