Abstract

Сектор „Рибарство и аквакултура“ има важно значение не само за българското земеделие, но за националната икономика като цяло. Този отрасъл способства за опазване на околната среда, защитава биоразнообразието на водните екосистеми в България, подпомага възстановяването и поддържането на запасите на ценни видове риба в естествените водоеми и устойчивото развитие на аквакултурите. Този важен стопански сектор има все още неизползван потенциал за развитие и създаване на допълнителни работни места, който придобива все поголямо значение поради стремежа на съвременните потребители към здравословно хранене и растящото търсене на риба и аквакултури.
