Предизвикателствата На Икономиката На Знанието Пред Някои Балкански Страни (Гърция, България, Турция)

Abstract

В студията се анализира напредъка на три балкански страни – Гърция, България и Турция – при изграждането на икономиката, базирана на знанието. За целта е използвана Методологията за оценка на знанието (Knowledge Assessment Methodology - KAM) на Световната банка и по-конкретно система от показатели, обединени в четири опорни “стълба“ – икономическа инициатива и институционална среда, образование, иновации, информационно- комуникационни технологии. На тази база се съпоставят постиженията на страните, разкриват общите моменти и различията между тях, посочват се слабостите и сравнителните им предимства, открояват се конкретните проблеми и се очертават потенциалните възможности. Всичко това в крайна сметка цели да да изведе основните предизвикателства на икономиката на знанието пред всяка от трите страни и пред Балканския регион като цяло.
