Abstract

Целта на настоящото изследване е да представи основните моменти на трансформацията на индустриалната икономика в икономика, основана на знания (ИОЗ), като постави акцент върху знанието като основен елемент и новите качества и роля на мениджърите на бизнес организации (БО). Така поставена основната цел се декомпозира на четири задачи: 1/ изясняване същността и основните елементи на ИОЗ; 2/ изясняване същността на знанието като единствен източник на висококачествена власт и специфичен човешки ресурс; 3/ представяне на новите качества на мениджъра на БО и аспектите на новата му роля в контекста на класическите роли; 4/ практическо изследване на отношението на българските ме ниджъри на БО към изискванията за нови качества и роля и косвено към ИОЗ. Основната теза е, че преходът към ИОЗ няма алтернатива и че за това са нужни знания и подготвени хора. Резултатите от анкетата, проведена с участието на 74 мениджъри, показват, най-общо казано, ниска управленска култура и непознаване спецификата на ИОЗ и нейните изисквания.
