Abstract

Изследването е теоретико-практично, с подчертан приложен харак- тер и е насочено към получаване на реалистична картина за стартовите позиции на Република България по пътя на нейното догонващо развитие в съответствие със задачите, произтичащи от решенията на Лисабонската стратегия. БВП е най-важният синтетичен макроикономически показател, характеризиращ ефективността от функционирането на икономическата система. БВП се намира в много силна зависимост от производителността на труда и конкурентоспособността на икономиката. От тази гледна точка всяко изследване на БВП е актуално и е израз на желанието да бъде внесен макар и минимален принос в общия стремеж на българския народ за равноправно вписване в европейските и световните структури. На базата на резултатите от проекта се прави опит за очертаване на приоритетните области, в които органите за държавно управление у нас би следвало в бъдеще да съсредоточат своите усилия, за да настъпи видим положителен прелом в политиката на темповете на растеж на БВП, в посока на тяхното повишаване с цел догонване на Европейските стандарти.
