Abstract

Международната регионална интеграция и процесите, протичащи в регионалните икономически формации, са предмет на редица икономически, политически, социологически изследвания от средата на 50-те години на миналия век до днес. Въпросът, който възниква обаче, e дали не се пораждат противоположните на интеграционните процеси – процесите на диференциация и дезинтеграция. Целта на студията е да се изследват процесите на интеграция и диференциация в ЕС и факторите, които влияят на тяхното протичане. Анализиран е европейският интеграционен процес и са изведени факторите, влияещи на стабилността в ЕС. Анализирани са външнотърговските потоци на част от настоящите източноевропейски държави членки на ЕС – Литва, Латвия, Естония, България, Румъния, Словакия, Словения, Полша, Чехия, Унгария и Хърватия и е изследвана насочеността на външнотърговските връзки на тези страни‒членки с държави в Общността и извън нея като фактор, генериращ диференциация в ЕС. Защитаваната изследователска теза е, че пренасочването на външнотърговските потоци на част от настоящите източноевропейски държави‒членки на ЕС от страни‒членки на Съюза към държави, извън Общността, може да се разглежда като фактор за възникване на процес на диференциация в ЕС.
