Abstract

Trans-Abstract: The transformation towards sustainability necessitates the propagation of transformative innovations and the reconfiguration of systemic frameworks, resulting in incremental to radical repercussions on daily life, behavioral patterns, and market dynamics. The contentious discourse surrounding the German Building Energy Act of 2023 illustrates the systemic transformations it entails. This article seeks to reflect the concept of transformative innovations by drawing insights from responses to the Building Energy Act.
