Abstract

Recently established technology enterprises have to engage in a high degree of innovation activities if they want to realise their products and / or services and their long-term development and success capacity. At such a stage, it appears advisable that they should increase their cooperation with further market partners. The panel survey that was conducted in this regard analysed the nexus between innovation- and cooperation-related influence factors and success. This revealed that factors that are closely related to task and innovation processes, as well as the choice of strategy at the time of the start-up, may be considered to be critical for success. In terms of cooperation, alliances with scientific institutions and customers proved beneficial to success. Individual variables evince delayed effects on success, which means that a form of management that is target-oriented and anticipates problems may be said to have a significant influence on a company's general development.
