Abstract

Trans-Abstract: Topics such as digitalization and sustainability combined with a VUCA environment and dependence on suppliers: procurement functions in industrial companies are of strategic relevance but challenged by increasing complexity. Therefore, a holistic model of procurement is needed. It was developed synoptically and is introduced in this article. It provides a basis for science and practice alike.
