Abstract

Trans-Abstract: A patent application is a costly and time-consuming process. In addition, the invention to be protected is usually a technically demanding object. The “patent protection” project is therefore a challenge and should be managed professionally. Project management, which is largely standardized, provides proven instruments for this purpose. Because of the legal framework of a patent, traditional project management is the best option. Particular sections of the project can be worked through effectively using elements of agile project management, in particular sprints.
