Abstract
The article is devoted to researching the prospects of China’s development in the new historical period, which was determined at the 6th Plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The essence of the historical plenums that took place in the history of China was studied, their influence on the country's development was analyzed, and the significance of the 6th Plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for the achievement of historical goals in the development of China for the period until 2050 was clarified. The main conceptual conclusions and program solutions of the 6th Plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and their place in the concept of building “socialism with Chinese characteristics” were researched. The role of the current leader of the country is studied, the results of his activities on the example of the socio-economic development of the country during the period of his rule are summarized, and an assessment of his activities is conducted. The article analyzes the state of China's relations with the EU, the USA, and Russia, identifies weaknesses, challenges, and prospects for the development of relations. China’s position regarding the russian-Ukrainian war was separately investigated. It has been proven that China takes a restrained position regarding the russian-Ukrainian war, and its foreign policy is based on the fundamental principles of peaceful coexistence established by the UN. The state and development of Ukrainian-Chinese relations are analyzed. The main directions of cooperation between Ukraine and China, the state of trade and investment activity between the countries were studied. Based on the results of the study, recommendations for the development of relations between Ukraine and China as strategic partners were developed
