Abstract

The aim of this intervention is to examine the key factors that have played a driving role in the dynamics of the entrepreneurial process related to the industrial development of a region. To address the question of the territorial development paradigm, the region of Blida was selected as a case study due to its location in the heart of the fertile agricultural plain of Mitidja, in northern Algeria, which served as a catalyst for the development of the agro-food industry. This study is based on the results of a statistical survey conducted with a sample of agro-food companies, focusing on the behaviors of entrepreneurs in the context of development and territorial dynamics. Theoretically, this work aligns with an approach where certain theoretical concepts serve as explanatory, analytical, and interpretative elements for survey data. Thus, through a thorough analysis of the survey data, we were able to identify the characteristics and specificities of entrepreneurs' strategies in territorial development policies in Algeria, highlighting aspects of network structuring and local dynamics.
