Abstract

According to the results of this article, it occurs to be convinced that high-potential children might be among the Congolese children population. This population of high potential children is important, although it is recognized that each child with high potential does not necessarily live in the same optimal conditions to develop or express this potential. As regards the factors that explain the high potential of these children, it should be noted that the sources of this high potential are much more hereditary and environmental (family environment, cultural background, physical environment) or a combination of both than the one from any other origin.
